Born and raised on a California beef cattle operation, Linda Stiehr has an eye for behind the scenes ranch & western photography.

At "Don't Fence Me In", you will find various outdoor scenes captured in these barnwood-framed photographs. Linda shoots everything from rodeos, cowboy gatherings, horses and wagon trains; to the everyday lifestyle of working ranch cowboys.

In capturing the everyday activities of livestock and cattle operations, she would like to record a ranchers' life depicting the general chores, horses, dogs, and equipment used on a daily basis.

These photos also focus on the wonderful scenery and the beauty that surrounds the cowboys as they go about their daily rounds. The photographer does not know of a cowboy or cattleman that does not appreciate nature, wonder at the splendor of God's hand, or stop to admire a plant, a tree, an animal or a scene that they come upon.
